 Tacky's an odd penguin who likes to do splashy cannonballs and greet his companions with a loud “What's happening?” Tacky's fellow penguins find somewhat bothersome until his odd behaviors save the day. I love how this book displays how Tacky stays unique to his own personality and does not change because of other penguins. Going along with the unique theme the students could complete a what makes me unique.... activity. This activity allows students to express to others what they thinks makes them unique and special through writing or drawing pictures. This activity can be presented in front of the class or displayed for others to see.
