Green Eggs and Ham

Sam I am is trying to convince another character to try green eggs and ham. This book is great to use with rhyming words. A hands on activity for students would be to use green plastic Easter eggs and write a rhyming words from the story on both the top and bottom piece of the egg. Separate the eggs into a container and the students have to find the rhyming words and connect the egg together. Students can be allowed to explore rhyming words and create their own eggs. This would be great to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday.
